Erin Bowen, MD

Dr. Bowen completed her undergraduate degree at Boston College in 2001, earning a Bachelor of Arts in English with a Pre-Medicine concentration. In 2007, she received her medical degree from University College Cork in Ireland and completed a 1 year Internship in Cork, Ireland. Subsequently, Dr. Bowen completed her Pediatric Residency at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. During her residency, Dr. Bowen was recognized for teaching medical students and her fellow residents. Dr. Bowen has worked in private practice for more than 10 years and she is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
In memory of her son Conor, Dr. Bowen volunteers for the SUDC (Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood) Foundation, acting as the organization's Vice President. The foundation works to increase awareness of SUDC and is dedicated to improving the care for families affected by sudden unexpected deaths in childhood.
Dr. Bowen lives with her husband and children in Milford and enjoys spending time on the beach collecting sea glass. She and her family participate in and encourage acts of kindness in our community in memory of Conor as “Kisses for Conor."
Dr. Bowen is eager to add her experience, compassion and dedication to our practice and the community.

Matthew Finn, MD

Dr. Finn joined the practice in July of 2017. He is a native of Rhode Island and a fanatic of all the Ocean State has to offer (ask about beaches, coffee milk, RI history, etc). After graduation from Brown University, he was involved in pathology and embryonic stem cell research at Harvard University in the Sharpe Lab. He continued his studies at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana where he was awarded membership in the Gold Humanism Society for compassion and dedication to patients and their families. Dr. Finn completed his training at Yale-New Haven Hospital and was the recipient of the Morris Y. Krosnick Award for exemplifying both kindness and commitment to his patients. He is board-certified with the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Finn enjoys sharing his knowledge and passion for pediatrics while teaching medical students as they rotate through our practice.
He resides in the Greater New Haven area and enjoys hiking, camping, gardening, and playing sports with his wife and three young children.

Pei Juan Salerno, MD

Dr. Salerno has been with the practice since 2014 and she is Board Certified with the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Salerno is a New York City native who, early on, developed an interest in Pediatrics and Business. She is a graduate of New York University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. Dr. Salerno graduated from the School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University of New York at Buffalo. During her residency at Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital, Dr. Salerno was recognized by the Gold Humanism Society for her compassion and dedication to her patients. Upon graduation, Dr. Salerno was the recipient of the Morris Y. Krosnick Award for exemplifying both kindness and commitment to her patients.

Along with her husband and two children, Dr. Salerno enjoys hiking, running and country music. In addition, they like to travel and experience new cultures and cuisines.
Dr. Salerno plays an active role in our community and is eager to provide compassionate and professional medical care to our patients and families.
Elizabeth Cai, MD

Dr. Cai grew up in New York and completed her undergraduate education at Princeton University where she majored in Psychology. She then attended medical school at Rutgers RWJ Medical School and completed her Pediatrics residency at Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital.
She lives in Milford with her husband, son, and cats and is excited to be part of our team!

Rashmi Pashankar, MD

Dr. Pashankar grew up in Bethany, went to University of Connecticut for both undergraduate and medical school (go Huskies!) before training at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore for pediatric residency.
She and her husband live in Hamden. She enjoys traveling, cooking, gardening, and hiking.
She is enjoying taking care of children in the community she grew up in!

James Morgan, MD
Pediatrician Emeritus
Dr. Morgan had been a member of the practice from 1989-2022. He is a graduate of the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA. Dr. Morgan's internship and residency were at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA where he was Chief Resident. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Morgan enjoys, skiing, cycling, fishing and all things outdoors. He has traveled to Haiti and provided medical care to children in need.
Jennifer Scheer, DO
